Halloween: The Game Guides Hub
Night-one paths for Myers, civilians, maps, story, and PC specs before September 8, 2026.
Halloween: The Game is an upcoming Unreal Engine 5 slasher from IllFonic, published with Gun Interactive and built with Compass International Pictures and Further Front. John Carpenter and Malek Akkad are involved. Digital launch is scheduled for September 8, 2026 on PlayStation 5, Xbox Series X|S, and PC through Steam and the Epic Games Store. Digital Deluxe early access starts September 4, 2026 at 9:00 AM PT. This Guides Hub is the table of contents for that first night in Haddonfield.
If you only open one page before you queue, open Getting Started. That checklist covers editions, specs, roles, maps, and the recommended order of story into 1v4. Everything else on this hub exists to deepen one of those decisions.
Role pages
The public loop is 1v4: one Michael Myers versus four Heroes of Haddonfield. There is also a six-chapter single-player campaign played as Myers, plus an offline bot option if you want to practice without a full lobby. Crossplay is planned across the listed platforms, and Easy Anti-Cheat will sit on the PC build.
Read Play as Michael Myers when you want the knife, the mask, and the stalk. That page is the Shape Jump, Killer Sense, Reality Tear, Blackout, Detection Pulse, Shape Slip, and Bloodthirst primer. Read Survive as a Civilian when you want to warn neighbors, loot, call police, and keep special targets alive. Death is not the end of a civilian’s match: you can still return as Dr. Loomis or a sheriff deputy.
Camera, maps, and story
Controls exists because trailers make abilities look like default binds. The game is third-person. Killer Sense is first-person. PlayStation previews have shown Killer Sense on R3. A complete official keyboard table has not been published, and this wiki will not invent one.
Maps is the landmark atlas for the four launch spaces. Open the dedicated East Haddonfield page for the grain mill, Rabbit in Red Lounge, and Phelps Garage. Then use Heights, Orange Grove Estates, and Town Center from the atlas. You will hunt or hide around the Rabbit in Red Lounge, Phelps Garage, the Strode and Myers houses, Lampkin Lane, the Doyle and Wallace homes, Nichols Hardware, and the cemetery.
Story Mode covers the six-chapter Myers campaign that starts with the Smith’s Grove escape and runs through Halloween night, with Dr. Loomis narrating. All ten standard civilians appear in that campaign. Use it as a teaching tool for Myers’ kit before you spend killer tokens on a priority queue.
Specs, editions, and regions
System Requirements is the PC gate: Windows 11 64-bit, DirectX 12, 45 GB on an SSD or NVMe, 16 GB RAM minimum, and a GTX 1660, RX 590, or Arc A770 class card. Recommended play steps up to 32 GB RAM and RTX 3000 or RX 7000 hardware. Digital Standard is $39.99. Digital Deluxe is $59.99 and is the edition that unlocks the September 4 early window plus Richard Hawthorne and Alexis. Physical Standard copies follow on October 6, 2026, with a Collector edition around $149.99.
Australia and New Zealand have refused classification because of a controlled-substance mechanic. The PlayStation 5 version is cancelled in Japan; Xbox and PC in Japan remain scheduled for September 9, 2026. Those facts belong in the spec and getting-started pages so you do not plan a purchase the stores will not fulfill.
Suggested reading order
- Confirm platform and edition in Getting Started.
- Confirm the PC or console box in System Requirements.
- Learn the camera in Controls.
- Play the six-chapter story as Myers, or jump straight into 1v4 if you already know the kit.
- Specialize with Play as Michael Myers or Survive as a Civilian.
- Scout landmarks in Maps and East Haddonfield so the first blackout does not happen on a street you cannot name.
- After a few matches, read progression and customization so perk cards and Myers loadouts are not a surprise.
Bookmark this hub as the night-one index, then leave it. The child pages are written to disagree with each other on emphasis, not on facts: Myers is still unkillable, civilians still save a town rather than a quartet, and September 8, 2026 is still the digital launch, not a date that has already passed.
