Gold means IllFonic locked a candidate build for certification and for the October physical run with Nighthawk Interactive. It is not a surprise unlock, a beta key, or a day-one patch preview. Disc manufacturing for the October 6 PlayStation 5 and Xbox editions depends on that lock; Deluxe digital still follows the 9:00 AM PT clock on September 4.

IllFonic has been introducing Haddonfield as a set of neighborhoods rather than a single street. Haddonfield Heights arrived in late 2025. Haddonfield Town Center followed in June 2026. Orange Grove Estates — the upscale corner with the Wallace and Doyle houses, a playground, and a basketball court — was revealed on July 7, 2026 alongside physical pre-orders. East Haddonfield, framed as Myers’ first stop after Smith’s Grove, received its own trailer on September 1, 2026 — see the dedicated East Haddonfield guide. On September 2, 2026 IllFonic posted a progression and customization overview covering perk cards, four progression levels, and Myers loadouts. Each map changes sightlines: Heights and Town Center play tighter than Orange Grove’s yards and second-story windows.

Study the dedicated maps guide for callouts. The tier list will not rank neighborhoods until people have actually queued. Story mode reuses film-faithful interiors, so a Heights or Orange Grove match is also homework for the campaign. Pair that with Michael Myers stalking routes and civilian loot paths instead of treating trailers as abstract CGI.

Pre-orders and storefront waves

Digital pre-orders opened June 6, 2026, with Standard at $39.99 and Deluxe at $59.99. Official extras include the Inmate Myers skin, civilians Richard and Alexis, advance access to the Final Girl Laurie Strode cosmetic, a digital comic, and the Phantom Myers pre-order skin. Matchmaking and killer tokens

IllFonic has shown role-based matchmaking rather than a single mixed queue. Myers demand is expected to exceed civilian demand, so killer tokens gate how often you can enter The Shape’s queue. Crossplay is advertised across PS5, Xbox Series, Steam, and Epic where those SKUs exist. Easy Anti-Cheat is required on PC. A token system plus crossplay means your platform is less important than whether you have a token and a full civilian side. Do not spend Deluxe money only to main Myers if the queue still asks you to play Heroes of Haddonfield most of the night.
