Halloween: The Game Heroes of Haddonfield

Ten launch civilians, two Deluxe extras, and a town full of neighbors who still need a warning.

Heroes of Haddonfield

Heroes of Haddonfield are the four human civilians in Halloween: The Game’s upcoming 1v4. You are not four isolated survivors on a generator map. You are four people inside a populated town, trying to warn NPC residents, loot household tools, open randomized escapes, and get police onto the street before Michael Myers finishes his special targets. This page is the roster. Practical habits live in Survive as a Civilian. Role projections — not hidden stats — live on the Civilian Tier List. Item reads live on the Items Tier List.

Developers have said each civilian comes with unique stats, special traits, and a signature personality. They have not published a public numbers sheet. This wiki will not invent one. What follows is who these people are, how they sit in the film-versus-original mix, and what job they look like they were built to do.

The ten Standard civilians

All ten Standard names appear in the six-chapter Story Mode. That matters if you care about cosmetics: story challenges are the stated path to alternate outfits, including looks pulled from the 1978 film.

Laurie Strode is the babysitter and the face Myers players will hunt on sight. Chelsea Krause voices the reimagined Laurie. Film familiarity makes her a high-priority target in multiplayer even if IllFonic never prints a “Myers aggro” stat. If you pick Laurie, assume you are the escort magnet and play like the neighborhood is looking at you.

Annie Brackett is the rebellious, funny babysitter, voiced by Kaitlyn Robrock. Sheriff’s-daughter flavor plus film recognition puts her next to Laurie on the “Myers will remember your outline” list. Annie reads as NPC wrangling and babysitting energy: get people moving, get them hidden, do not stand in the yard explaining the plot.

Bob Simms is the brawny boyfriend, voiced by Nicholas Leung. Official materials call out the beer-drinking lovebirds pairing with Lynda. Bob is the obvious fight-back body. That does not mean you win a knife fight. It means you are the civilian most likely to buy a knockdown so someone else can finish a phone call.

Lynda van der Klok (often styled Lynda; some materials say Linda) is voiced by Angela Carbone. She is the confident social half of the Bob pairing. In a sandbox about convincing neighbors, a character built as the life of the party is an NPC wrangler until proven otherwise.

Tanya Harrison sits at the center of Haddonfield’s social scene, turned down Mr. Strode’s realty job, and works the record store. Official bio energy is carefree, darkly funny, and known by everyone. That is NPC wrangling with a soundtrack. If your squad needs someone who can talk a resident into calling the cops, Tanya is the flavor pick.

Rachel Callahan (also spelled Calahan in some bios) would rather hang out with the dead. Funeral-service student, occult bookstore regular, punk sarcasm. She is the civilian who looks built for alleys, side doors, and not being the first silhouette Myers clocks from the sidewalk.

Marcus Navarro is the biker who left town after a divorce split, rides to the Rabbit in Red, and still protects people like his grandmother Gloria. Mobility and fight-back flavor. He is not a confirmed speed stat. He is the roster’s lone-wolf silhouette, which is useful until you forget that 1v4 still needs a four-person plan.

Thomas Armitage is the 21-year-old college football player who comes home every weekend for his little sister and his dad’s furniture business. Courageous-leader copy is doing a lot of work here. Thomas reads as the civilian who will walk toward a scream. Use that for escorts and fight-back, not for solo heroics in the dark.

Eric Dunn is the loyal Nichols Hardware employee. Hardware is loot. Loot is keys, tools, and the household weapons that knock Myers down without killing him. If your four-stack keeps dying because nobody picked up the bolt cutters, Eric is the reminder that one civilian should actually be a looter.

Jennifer Aarons works the local bookstore on a gap year, type A, trying to leave town, newly dipping into nightlife. “Always prepared” is the official line. Jennifer is the civilian you pick when you want the person who checks closets, pockets keys, and does not need a pep talk to loot.

Deluxe extras and customization

Digital Deluxe adds Richard Hawthorne (voiced by Spencer Charnas) and Alexis Purcell (voiced by Kristina Klebe). PCGamingWiki and store listings also attach the Inmate Myers skin and Final Girl Laurie cosmetic to Deluxe. That is roster access and cosmetics, not a published power tier. Details sit on Editions. Advance Access is scheduled for 9:00 PT on September 4, 2026; the full digital launch is September 8.

Customization confirmed in the July Q&A: hair, eyewear, makeup and blemishes, plus alternate outfits. Story challenges unlock looks, including film-familiar pieces. Private matches allow duplicate civilians, so four Lauries is a lobby option, not a bug.

What civilians actually do

The job is bigger than “don’t die.” You find residents, convince them Myers is real, and guide them to randomized escapes. Lootable containers hold weapons, distractions, and keys. Escapes make noise. Phones bring police. Beer and alcohol are in the inventory fantasy; marijuana highlights Myers on the map, which is also why Australia refused classification. Rare mysterious items — a locket, an hourglass, a lantern — are stated to affect Myers more than household junk, and IllFonic is intentionally vague until launch.

When you die, you are not done. You can still support the squad and may return as Dr. Loomis or a sheriff’s deputy. Detention of Myers needs police, damage, and a human in one of those roles. Read the Players Hub if you need the whole loop, Getting Started if you have not picked a platform yet, and Play as Michael if you want to know how The Shape will hunt this roster. Maps will teach you which houses are actually worth a conversation. Dates for Advance Access and the digital launch sit on the Release Schedule.

Build a four-stack like a film crew, not like a fighting game. One person talks to NPCs. One person loots keys and hardware. One person watches light and line of sight because Shape Jump is a darkness door. One person is allowed to swing when Myers is already committed. If all four of you are holding knives and waiting for a highlight, you are the special targets.

FAQ

Frequently Asked Questions

Quick answers to the most common questions.

How many civilians are playable at launch?

Ten in the Standard Edition: Laurie, Annie, Bob, Lynda, Tanya, Rachel, Marcus, Thomas, Eric, and Jennifer. Digital Deluxe adds Richard Hawthorne and Alexis Purcell. All ten Standard civilians appear in story mode.

Do Deluxe civilians have better stats?

IllFonic has not published a stat sheet that says Richard or Alexis are stronger. Deluxe is roster and cosmetic access. Do not treat a store bundle as a hidden power ranking.

Can I customize civilians?

Yes. Confirmed options include hair, eyewear, makeup and blemishes, and alternate outfits. Some iconic looks unlock through story-mode challenges.

What is the civilian objective in 1v4?

Warn NPC residents, guide them to randomized escapes, loot weapons, distractions, and keys, call police, and survive Myers. Dying can still lead to a Loomis or deputy return.

Are Laurie and Annie stronger because they are from the film?

They are high-priority targets because Myers players will recognize them. That is a targeting problem, not a confirmed stat advantage. Play them as escort magnets until live data exists.

Can four players pick the same civilian?

Private matches allow duplicate civilians. Matchmaking rules for public queues have not been fully spelled out in a patch notes sense, so treat duplicates as confirmed for private play.
