Halloween: The Game Tier List Hub

These lists are pre-launch projections. Halloween: The Game has not shipped a live patch, has not published a ranked ladder, and has not given this wiki a stat sheet to pretend we reverse-engineered. Rankings below come from official trailers, the multiplayer overview, developer Q&As, and hands-on previews. They will be wrong in places. That is the point of dating them.

Use this hub to pick a job, not a gospel. Civilians are scored by role — escort, loot, fight-back, NPC wrangling — on the Civilian Tier List. Loot is scored by how it changes a match — keys, weapons, beer, marijuana, mysterious Myers-hurting relics — on the Items Tier List. If a YouTube thumbnail tells you Laurie is “S-tier DPS,” close it. IllFonic has not printed that number.

What we are ranking, and what we are not

We are ranking jobs in a 1v4 sandbox where Michael Myers hunts four Heroes of Haddonfield inside a populated town. Special targets, phones, police, and detention matter. Dr. Loomis is a post-death return, not a starter you queue. Story mode is six chapters as Myers; it informs cosmetics and map memory, not a PvP win rate.

We are not ranking:

• Live patch win rates. There are none to cite yet.
• Hidden civilian numbers. Developers said unique stats exist and did not show them.
• Deluxe as pay-to-win. Richard Hawthorne and Alexis Purcell are extra roster, not published stat sticks. See Editions.
• Myers skins as power. Inmate Myers and Final Girl Laurie are cosmetics.

If you want the mechanical how-to instead of a letter grade, leave this hub for Play as Michael, Survive as a Civilian, Getting Started, Maps, and Story Mode. The Players Hub is the roster encyclopedia these lists keep pointing at.

How to read the letters

S means the role or item is likely to decide matches if your squad actually uses it. Film-familiar faces that draw Myers, keys that open the noisy escape, rare relics that hit The Shape harder than a frying pan — those belong here as predictions.

A means consistently useful: hardware loot flavor, fight-back bodies that buy a knockdown, marijuana as a Myers highlight, household weapons that put him on the ground without killing him.

B means real, but easy to waste: beer and alcohol as inventory toys, distractions that only work if someone is watching the dark, social civilians who never talk to an NPC.

C means still in the game, still worth knowing, not the thing you build a four-stack around. A civilian you picked for the screenshot. A distraction you threw at a wall.

Letters will move after September 8, 2026, and they should. Digital Deluxe Advance Access is scheduled for 9:00 PT on September 4. Physical editions follow on October 6. Track those dates on the Release Schedule. The first week of play will beat any paragraph on this page.

How to use both child lists together

Do not main a civilian in a vacuum. Eric Dunn’s hardware identity only matters if your squad values keys and tools. Laurie only becomes a problem if Myers players tunnel the babysitter and your team has no looter. A lantern in S-tier does not help if nobody walks into the house that has it. Read civilians first if you are picking a body. Read items first if you are picking a loot route. Then go back to Survive as a Civilian so the letter grades turn into a phone call and a locked door.

Myers does not get a character tier list of his own because he is the entire killer roster. His “tier” is whether your Shape Jump discipline is real. Light, line of sight, Bloodthirst, Reality Tear — that is a skill page, not an S-through-C chart.

Treat this hub like a corkboard over a garage workbench. The Civilian Tier List is whose job you trust on night one. The Items Tier List is what you pocket when the drawer is full. When the first patch lands, we rewrite the letters. Until then, steal the jobs, ignore the ego, and do not quote these ranks as if they were a tournament export.
