Halloween: The Game Tools
Edition math and a pre-order checklist before Deluxe week.
This Tools Hub exists because Halloween: The Game sells more than one way into Haddonfield. Digital Standard, Digital Deluxe, physical Standard, and the Limited Collector’s Edition do not share the same unlock date, the same cosmetics, or the same price. If you pick the wrong SKU, you either miss September 4, 2026 or you pay $149.99 for a figure that will not let you queue as Myers four days early. Use the child pages as calculators, not as storefronts.
- Edition Comparison — Standard $39.99, Deluxe $59.99, physical Standard, Collector about $149.99, with tables for skins, civilians, and dates.
- Pre-Order Checklist — platform, edition, 45 GB SSD, Windows 11, crossplay account, AU/NZ/Japan PS5 gates, Discord, and time zones.
Then leave the calculator and read the actual game pages: getting started, system requirements, maps, story mode, civilians, Michael Myers, and the tier list. Dates live on the release schedule; country blocks live on regional availability. Store URLs live on official links.
Why a tools section before launch
IllFonic opened digital pre-orders on June 6, 2026 and physical pre-orders on July 7, 2026. That gap is long enough for people to forget what Deluxe actually contains. Official copy lists the Inmate Myers skin, exclusive civilians Richard and Alexis, advance access to the Final Girl Laurie Strode cosmetic, a digital comic, and four-day early access from 9:00 AM PT on September 4. Physical Standard adds a poster, early Clown Myers, and two civilian cosmetics, but the disc waits until October 6, 2026. Collector adds the Trick or Treat Studios Shape Jump 8-inch figure, lenticular art, Samhain Myers, and more civilian cosmetics — still October 6.
A tools page is the honest place to say: Deluxe buys time, Collector buys a shelf piece, Standard buys the game. None of those sentences should be buried in a news recap. The news hub covers gold status and matchmaking; this hub covers money and prep.
How to use the two child pages
Start with editions if you have not chosen a SKU. Start with the checklist if you already own Deluxe and need to confirm Windows 11, 45 GB, Easy Anti-Cheat, and a region that can actually check out. PC listings require Windows 11 64-bit, DirectX 12, an SSD or NVMe, and a GTX 1660-class GPU at minimum. Console players still need a PlayStation 5 or Xbox Series machine; there is no last-gen SKU.
If you live in Australia or New Zealand, or you are on PlayStation 5 in Japan, stop and read regional availability before either tool. Those storefronts are not a pricing problem. They are a classification problem.
What these tools will not do
They will not generate codes, roll cosmetics, or estimate Myers queue times. Killer tokens belong to matchmaking, which is explained on the news page. They will not rank civilians; that is the tier list. They will not teach Shape Jump or kitchen looping; that is getting started and the role pages.
They also will not refresh every local tax. USD prices on this wiki are IllFonic’s advertised $39.99 / $59.99 / ~$149.99 figures. Steam, PlayStation, Xbox, and Epic will convert and tax in your wallet currency. Physical Collector stock can vanish at a retailer even when digital Deluxe is still listed.
Pick an edition lane before 8:59 AM PT on September 4, 2026. Deluxe is the only SKU that opens Haddonfield that morning. Everything else on this Tools Hub is support material so you do not compare a $149 figure to a four-day head start at the last minute. When the choice is locked, close the calculator and go back to maps and Myers.
Frequently Asked Questions
Quick answers to the most common questions.
Which tool should I open first?
Open Edition Comparison if you have not bought a SKU. Open the pre-order checklist if you already know Standard versus Deluxe and need platform, storage, and region checks.
Do these tools replace the release schedule?
No. Clocks live on the release schedule. This hub only explains what you get for each price and what to finish before unlock.
Is Collector better than Deluxe for playing early?
No. Collector discs are dated October 6, 2026. Four-day early access is a Digital Deluxe benefit starting September 4, 2026 at 9:00 AM PT.
What if my country cannot buy the game?
Read regional availability. Australia, New Zealand, and Japan PS5 are not checklist problems; they are storefront blocks.
Where are the store URLs?
All official store and social URLs sit on the links hub. This Tools Hub stays focused on editions and prep.
