Halloween: The Game Players Hub

Halloween: The Game is an upcoming 1v4 asymmetrical horror sandbox from IllFonic. One player takes Michael Myers while four others play Heroes of Haddonfield. A six-chapter solo story also lets you walk as The Shape. This hub is the roster map: who you pick, what that pick is actually for, and which wiki pages stop you from treating a trailer clip as a ranked-play bible.

The match is not a closed arena. Haddonfield is a populated neighborhood. Human civilians warn NPC residents, loot household weapons, hunt keys for randomized escapes, and try to get police on the street. Myers stalks special targets, cuts phones, blackouts blocks, and never truly dies. Police can knock him down and, with enough manpower, detain him back toward Smith’s Grove. That loop is why the roster is small on the killer side and wide on the civilian side.

If you are brand new, start with Getting Started, then come back here to choose a role instead of a favorite poster. Role value — escort, loot, fight-back, NPC wrangling — is how we talk about civilians on the Civilian Tier List. Item value lives on the Items Tier List. Both of those lists are pre-launch projections, not live patch data.

Michael Myers, the only killer

Myers is unkillable in the sense that a civilian swing does not end the match. A pickaxe or a shotgun can put him on the ground; he gets back up. That is why Play as Michael is a stalking guide, not a damage-per-second guide. Shape Jump needs darkness or a missed line of sight. Killer Sense is first-person stalking that builds execution tiers. Reality Tear is a long-cooldown escape when a squad is bullying him in the light. He can drive. He can cut copper phone lines separately from power. Special targets matter more than highlight-reel chases. Myers is rewarded for hunting named residents on a clock, not for sprinting at the loudest player. Halloween: The Game multiplayer overview

Ten launch civilians, plus Deluxe extras

The Standard Edition is scheduled to ship ten playable civilians, and all ten appear in story mode: Laurie Strode, Annie Brackett, Bob Simms, Lynda van der Klok, Tanya Harrison, Rachel Callahan, Marcus Navarro, Thomas Armitage, Eric Dunn of Nichols Hardware, and Jennifer Aarons. Digital Deluxe adds Richard Hawthorne and Alexis Purcell, plus the Inmate Myers skin and Final Girl Laurie cosmetic. Compare those packages on Editions before you assume a Deluxe name is a hidden stat stick.

Developers have said civilians carry unique stats, special traits, and personalities. They have not published a public numbers sheet, so this wiki does not invent one. What we can talk about is job flavor. Laurie and Annie are film-familiar faces that Myers players will hunt on sight. Eric is the hardware and loot read. Thomas and Bob read as fight-back bodies. Tanya and Lynda read as social NPC wranglers. Jennifer reads as the prepared looter. Marcus reads as the mobile loner. Rachel reads as the quiet occult kid who may prefer alleys to living rooms. Customization covers hair, eyewear, makeup and blemishes, and alternate outfits, including looks unlocked from story challenges.

Dr. Loomis after death

Dying is not a hard spectator lock. A downed civilian can still support the squad and may return as Dr. Loomis or a sheriff’s deputy. Loomis is the film psychiatrist who also narrates the six-chapter story. In multiplayer he is the armed second-chance hunter who can help detain Myers. If your group keeps treating first death as “game over,” you are leaving a gun and a tracker on the bench.

Detention is a town project, not a hero duel. You need police presence, damage, and a human playing Loomis or a deputy. That is the roster’s late-match identity: the original four try to live long enough to make that project possible, or they die early and become the project.

Dates, editions, and how to use this hub

Digital Deluxe Advance Access is scheduled for 9:00 PT on September 4, 2026. The full digital launch is September 8, 2026, with physical editions following on October 6. Track those windows on the Release Schedule. None of this roster is “live meta.” It is a pre-launch map of roles.

Use this hub in three passes. First, read Myers so you understand why light, line of sight, and phones exist. Second, pick a civilian job instead of a favorite screenshot. Third, read Loomis so a knife to the throat is a role change, not a rage quit. Then open the Tier List Hub and treat every S-rank as a prediction with a date stamp.

When you sit down on launch night, pick one killer habit and one civilian habit: Shape Jump only from true dark, and one dedicated looter who actually carries keys. The rest of this wiki exists to keep those two habits honest while Haddonfield is still a rumor with a street address.
